Can you train at Revolution without a personal trainer?

The short answer is no, and if I left things there I’d be in line to win an award for the shortest blog post ever written. Having said that, I think it’s worth addressing this question in more detail because in over a decade of handling the Revolution sales enquires – which amounts to thousands of customers – it’s one of the most frequently asked questions that I hear.

There are three main reasons our customers aren’t allowed to train on their own at a Revolution studio:

  1. We are a personal training studio, so our customers see us for exclusive one-on-one training. Unlike a standard gym, there are no monthly or annual membership fees and by having our studio available for personal training only, it means we can control the number of people training at any one time. On a practical level this works well as we avoid overcrowding, but equally importantly it means our trainers have the necessary equipment available to train their clients as effectively as possible to get those results faster.
  2. We want our customers to be executing the exercises they perform safely, effectively and with as near perfect technique as possible. If we had members of the public training whilst personal training sessions were being delivered, then our ability to do this would be compromised.
  3. Our customers invest their hard earned money, commit their time and make sacrifices in order to achieve outstanding results. Therefore, it’s really important to us that we provide a top class training facility as well as an environment which our customers feel really comfortable in.
