I’m on my third and final ‘juicing’ day of the 14 day Revolution NutriClean detox. Over the last few days I’ve enjoyed a variety of soups and smoothies (my personal favourite being the carrot and coriander soup which tastes great).
What makes the juice days on this detox different from any of these thing that I’ve tried before, is that along side the various fresh fruit smoothies you can choose from, their are an array of hot and fulfilling meals in the form of easy to prepare soups.

I must admit that I’ve held back on high intensity training a little since yesterday due to worrying that my energy levels may suddenly hit a wall but at the moment I’m feeling fine. I think that three days is the perfect length of time to stay mentally strong and enjoy this section of the plan.
So what’s the point of the three juice days in the middle?
The main idea, as I understand it, is to rest your digestive system while still taking in both natural and supplemented sources of carbohydrates, sugars, proteins, fats and fibre along with all the vitamins and minerals that your body should have and is probably depleted of. By doing this when you return to eating ‘normally’ your body is able to process and absorb what it needs with far more ease and basically work as a more efficient machine.
I must admit I’m looking forward to noshing down some normal grub, but at the same time some of the benefits of the detox and the juice days are already quite clear to me.

– Increase energy levels
– Increase muscle mass
– Break the sugar habit
– Improve your sleep
– Clear skin
I’ve already experienced all of the above and am happy to say that it hasn’t felt like a battle the whole way. In my opinion this detox coupled with correct exercise is one of the quickest, easiest and healthiest ways to lose weight that I’ve come across and tried myself.
